chikūpod is made by chikū lab, which runs chikupod.com. This page says what happens to your data when you visit and when you join the waitlist. There are no analytics, no advertising, no cookies and no tracking. You can read how the lab itself handles data at chiku.dev/privacy.
HOSTING
chikupod.com is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. As with any website, when your browser asks for a page the server receives technical details of the request, such as your IP address, the page and time, and your browser type, and may record them in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
THE WAITLIST
If you join the waitlist we receive what you type into the form: your email address, whether you would join a GoFundMe (yes or no, optional), and the optional answer, in your own words, to the question of what you would pay for one. You also tick a box to say you agree to be emailed about chikūpod. We use these only to write to you about chikūpod, rarely, and to understand how many people want one and at what price.
The form sends them to a small script on this site, which sends one email to hi@chiku.dev. The script does not store anything on the web server and does not write a log. No mailing-list service, form service or other third party is involved. The email then sits in the chiku.dev mailbox until we delete it.
We keep your address until we decide whether chikūpod goes on sale, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever is first. We do not sell or share it.
ON YOUR DEVICE
This site does not store anything in your browser: no cookies, no local storage. Fonts and images come from this site only.
YOUR RIGHTS AND CONTACT
Write to hi@chiku.dev to ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted. If you write to us, we receive your address and message and use them only to reply.
CHANGES
If this ever changes, for example if we add a mailing tool or analytics, this page will be updated before it happens.
